10.Panyee.village * Along the way to Khao Tapoo, we passed by the Koh Panyee village, originally founded by Malaysian fishermen. Today inhabitants still keep their original culture alive. The village is almost entirely build on wooden stilts upon the water, and by visiting it you can see that its economy relies on tourist attractions (restaurants and market). I think it's pretty funny how the Thai tourists guides and informations glorify Khao Tapoo as the James Bond place (they even sell 007 gadgets there) rather than for its unique beauty, which is the real reason for which the tourists go there.
