Back in the right direction towards south. This is the fourth bridge crossing the Canal Grande, designed by the spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. I just learned that it was officially opened on September 11, 2008, just one month before we walked on it. It's very convenient for going from the Piazzale Roma (where all the bus stations are located) and the main train station.
